RSS... what is that?

Category : General

RSS stands for rich site summary (RSS 0.90 and RSS1.0) or real simple syndication (RSS 2.0) a format for delivering regularly changing content like your coupons and inventory listings. I think we are the only provider in dealer website solutions that offers this :).

Benefits of RSS for auto dealers

  • Its offers instant updates... when you change content, your consumers know it instantly
  • It allows consumer to stay informed on your latest specials and vehicle listings, without having to visit your website.
  • Its an additional channel to send your content besides using email. RSS will likely rival email as means of content distribution in the next year or so.
  • It offers a standard way for other websites to easily add your coupons and inventory on their website. i.e. Google Bases uses your inventory feed.
